SOCIAL SCIENCES RESEARCH IN THE AGE OF AI
Distinguished guests, colleagues, and friends,
It is our great honor to welcome you all to the AI in Social Sciences Research Conference. This gathering brings together scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students from across disciplines to explore one of the most exciting frontiers of our time—the integration of artificial intelligence into the study of human society.
Social sciences have always sought to understand the complexities of human behavior, culture, and institutions. Today, with the transformative power of AI, we are entering a new era where advanced computational methods, data-driven insights, and intelligent systems can enrich our understanding of these complexities in unprecedented ways. From uncovering hidden social patterns to addressing pressing global challenges, AI is not merely a tool but a partner in reimagining how we ask questions and seek solutions.
This conference provides us with a platform to share knowledge, debate ideas, and forge new collaborations. Over the coming days, we will hear from distinguished keynote speakers, engage in vibrant discussions, and present innovative research that highlights both the opportunities and the ethical responsibilities that come with applying AI in the social sciences.
We encourage you all to take this opportunity not only to learn but also to connect—across disciplines, cultures, and perspectives. The conversations we begin here will extend far beyond these sessions and, we hope, will inspire lasting partnerships and impactful research.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we wish you an engaging, thought-provoking, and productive conference. Let us begin this journey together—toward a future where AI and social science enrich each other for the benefit of society as a whole.
Thank you, and welcome.

Publication 2026:
The BEST papers selected by a panel of judges will be published in the Engineering Proceedings (MDPI) (Scopus-indexed) if full manuscripts with all the instructions are submitted according to the publisher-conference team requirements.
The final decision to publish depends on the decision made by conference editors. The final decision is based on the quality of the paper, the content topic, and linguistic issues.
For the "Presentation Only" category (those who would not submit full papers for publication), all topics related to social sciences are welcome, with or without discussion on AI or smart tech/environment.
Participants from specific networks, such as the Philippines, Indonesia, India, etc., may choose to opt for the student shared authorship program ($25 per student), with ONLY the best presentations invited for Scopus-indexed publication. Only papers with a technology focus (within or without a social science context) will be considered for Scopus publication.
Deadline 2026:
Extended Abstract (500-800 words approx.) OR Full Paper Submission
FINAL DEADLINE FOR 1ST DRAFT PAPER SUBMISSION: 1st June 2026
Acceptance/Rejection Notification: 10th June 2026
FINAL Registration Deadline: 10th July 2026
Short abstracts will NOT be accepted for review
Full papers are preferred for the first submission if the camera-ready version is to be considered for Scopus-indexed publication.
Presenters may be notified of the decision to accept/reject as soon as the review process is completed.
If you need a few extra days beyond the deadline to submit your abstract, don't hesitate to get in touch with the editor promptly.
